Description

Objective:

Lead engaging musical worship and supervise the technical execution for weekend gatherings at the Adairsville location.

Personal Responsibilities:

  • Give generously to the vision and mission of Crosspoint City Church.
  • Be loyal to the vision and staff of Crosspoint City Church and always protect the church's unity.
  • Invest and invite the lost to know Jesus and come to Crosspoint City Church.
  • Maintain staff team covenant.
  • Adhering to and embodying the qualities and characteristics required of employees, as defined by the Employee Handbook.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, prepare, equip, and encourage your leaders to align Crosspoint City's mission, values, and strategy.
  • Assist in the planning process, particularly concerning worship and production needs in Adairsville.
  • Ensure the achievement of Ministry Action Plans (MAPs).
  • Cultivate and manage the onboarding process for Worship and Production Serve Team members in Adairsville.
  • Ensure excellence in all areas of your ministry.
  • Steward effectively and efficiently the budget and all resources related to your ministry.
  • Position may require some travel.
  • As required, attend staff and departmental meetings on time, as requested.
  • Participates in training as directed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Worship:

  • Lead worship regularly and consistently at your location.
  • Execute the gathering schedule and plan as provided and communicated via Planning Center Online.
  • Organize and conduct rehearsals to ensure excellence at all gatherings.
  • Ensure that all music and singing are well-executed for all gatherings.
  • Implement a Leadership Development Strategy to recruit, prepare, equip, and encourage Serve Team members (worship and production).
  • Administer scheduling of musicians, singers, and worship teachers for gatherings and special events.
  • Provide coaching for Worship Serve Team members that encourages growth and clarifies expectations.

Production:

  • Oversee lighting, stage, and CG design and operation at your location.
  • Perform systems for recruiting, onboarding, developing, & evaluating your Production Serve Team members.
  • Maintain inventory and proper care of production equipment at your location.
  • Oversee the execution of production elements for all gatherings at your location.
  • Be instrumental in setup, tear-down, and care of production equipment used in a portable setting.
  • Provide coaching for Production Serve Team members that encourages growth & clarifies expectations.

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and pass a background check.
  • Must have prior experience in a ministry environment.
  • Must have a strong knowledge of music, both vocally and instrumentally.
  • Doctrinal beliefs are congruent with Crosspoint City's beliefs.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to a team approach to ministry.
  • Collaboration and a team-oriented mindset are essential.
  • Ability to be discreet in dealing with confidential matters and materials.
  • Ability to interact with colleagues, supervisors, and members face-to-face.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English effectively.
  • Confidentiality of personal and church information is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
