As we continue to grow, we’re seeking an experienced, mission-driven Project Implementation Manager to help us strengthen systems, lead change, and ensure organizational excellence. About the Role

The Project Implementation Manager plays a pivotal role in translating strategy into action. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role leads cross-departmental projects that modernize systems, enhance operational efficiency, and support AoH’s continued expansion.

You’ll partner with teams across Finance, Operations, Academics, and Workforce Development to design, execute, and sustain improvements that strengthen the organization from the inside out. The ideal candidate is a systems thinker who thrives at the intersection of strategy, collaboration, and change management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic & Project Leadership

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of organizational projects that advance AoH’s strategic plan.
     
  • Translate executive vision into clear project scopes, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
     
  • Oversee project budgets, timelines, risk assessments, and accountability structures.
     
  • Develop performance dashboards to monitor progress and ensure on-time, high-quality results.

Operational Improvement & Change Management

  • Assess workflows and identify opportunities for greater efficiency and cross-functional alignment.
     
  • Design and lead change management strategies that build staff readiness and engagement.
     
  • Develop sustainability plans to ensure long-term adoption of new tools and processes.
     
  • Partner with leaders to integrate operational improvements with AoH’s CARES values and growth initiatives.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Facilitate project team meetings and ensure consistent communication across departments.
     
  • Build trust, alignment, and transparency among diverse stakeholders.
     
  • Deliver concise progress reports and recommendations to leadership and Board committees.
     
  • Model collaboration and accountability in every project milestone.

Documentation & Capacity Building

  • Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, and implementation toolkits.
     
  • Provide staff training and onboarding related to new initiatives and systems.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strategic Project Management: Deep knowledge of project lifecycles, frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid), and risk mitigation.
     
  • Systems & Process Thinking: Skilled in analyzing organizational processes and designing scalable solutions.
     
  • Leadership & Influence: Adept at guiding diverse teams through change with clarity and empathy.
     
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Strong analytical, budget, and reporting capabilities.
     
  • Exceptional Communication: Able to convey complex information clearly to all levels of the organization.
     
  • Technical Proficiency: Experienced with Asana, Monday.com, MS Project, Excel, and SharePoint or similar tools.

Work Environment

This position works across both Ward 5 and Ward 8 campuses, with remote flexibility based on project needs. The role includes in-person collaboration, site visits, and meetings to ensure consistent communication and implementation across teams. The work environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and mission-focused, with colleagues who believe deeply in the power of learning to transform lives.

Compensation: $63,891 – $109,617 annually, based on experience and qualifications, aligned with AoH’s step-based salary structure.
