Comprehensive Life Resources is looking for a qualified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Tacoma, Washington.

Scope
Dividing full-time hours between the Adult Outpatient Clinic and Park Place adult residential treatment facility, the Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner is responsible for conducting psychiatric examinations, prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications, completing associated documentation and other patient related services. Serves as a member of an organization that welcomes, engages, and serves individuals with complex wellness needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric examinations and review collateral information of assigned patients in accordance with Department of Behavioral Health (DBHR) and WAC guidelines, and Best Practices.
- Prescribe psychotropic medications using Center's formulary and Electronic Prescribing System (EPS), to treat psychiatric illness; order labs in accordance with Best Practice guidelines.
- Comply with Center's EMR requirements as established and modified from time to time
- Complete physician's certificates or other documentation for involuntary treatment in accordance with applicable laws and the Mental Health Code.
- Conduct regular reviews (and revisions of as needed) of treatment plans and provides DSM V, diagnoses on all assigned patients as required by Program and state regulatory protocols.
- Respond proactively with care to patients and families.
- Evaluate urgent psychiatric patients in a competent and timely manner. Complies with commitment laws 100% of the time.
- Become part of a treatment team with nurses, other prescribers, case managers, support staff, clinicians’ administration and management teams.
- Adhere to Medicaid and third-party billing documentation requirements and credentialing.
- Engagement in active supervision by the Medical Director.
- In addition to the above, performs other duties as assigned.
