Comprehensive Life Resources is looking for a qualified Medication Tech to join our team in Tacoma, WA.

Function: Provide residential medication monitoring services to mentally ill clients.  Facilitate the community adjustment of clients at high risk for institutionalization.  Serves as a member of the organization that welcomes, engages, and serves individuals with complex wellness needs.        

 

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Park Place residents’ self-administration of medications. 
  • Facilitate continuity of care.
  • Document all medication monitoring and self-medications in EHR program or Medication Administration Record (MAR) , including progress notes as needed.
  • Coordinate with the medical team to ensure medications are ordered and filled.
  • Provide services and activities for residential clients that enhance self-care skills, independence, social skills, and self-reliance.
  • Participate in meetings and activities as required.
  • Work a schedule as needed to support 24/7 nursing services
  • In addition to the above, perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED.  
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize deadlines, work independently, take initiative, and maintain confidentiality.
  • If role requires driving, must have valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and working vehicle.
