Position Purpose:
The Lab School Facilitator and Success Coach is responsible for supervising students in the SWVA-HEALS program on a daily basis. This position will be responsible for monitoring grades, student attendance, and student work, with the expectation of assisting the SWVA-HEALS students to achieve success.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Complies with all rules, policies, and procedures as established by Emory and Henry University
- Supervises the SWVA-HEALS students daily and communicates the expectations for behavior.
- Assists students with daily assignments, grades, time management, attendance, behavior, etc.
- Monitors the performance of the students and communicates with the Executive Director and Assistant Director to develop plans to assist students who are not performing at the expected levels.
- Schedules individual conferences with students to discuss classroom performance.
- Monitors technology usage by the students and provides assistance with technology issues.
- Supports the Executive Director and Lab School staff members to ensure that program goals and objectives are accomplished and that operations run efficiently.
