Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred. or
- A combination of education and relevant experience
Certifications:
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification strongly preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- First Aid / CPR Certified
- Occupational Health preferred, not required.
- Experience with pipe manufacturing or metal fabrication processes is a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and other applicable safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead training sessions and conduct effective incident investigations.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Working Conditions:
- Primarily based in a shop/manufacturing environment with routine exposure to machinery, noise, and industrial materials.
- Must be able to walk, stand, climb, and navigate shop floor for extended periods.
- May require occasional travel for training or audits.
