QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Education and experience: bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice or similar and at least one (1) year of experience in a similar role working at a child protective agency or child advocacy center OR an equivalent and combined knowledge, experience and skills of five (5) years working in a child advocacy center, child protection agency, or similar in lieu of the education requirements.
Required License(s) or Certifications: Clear and valid Texas Driver’s License
Required Software Experience: MSOffice Outlook, SharePoint and database skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse community of stakeholders including law enforcement, CPS, the Dallas Juvenile DA’s Office, Children’s Health, DCAC staff, and clients/families.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work Location: All work must be conducted in the office due to client confidentiality; hybrid work environment of working two (2) days remotely may be requested and evaluated after six (6) months of employment with DCAC.
Mental and Physical Abilities: Duties are usually performed seated with occasional periods of standing or walking. Limited physical effort is required associated with lifting and carrying objects (less than 25 lbs.).
Working Conditions: Work may be performed but is not limited to an office environment.
