About the Role: We’re seeking a dynamic Vice President of Marketing to lead SkyShare’s marketing strategy and amplify our position as a top-tier private aviation provider. Based in our Salt Lake City office, you’ll report to the CEO and collaborate with our sales divisions (fractional, charter, brokerage, and management) to drive client acquisition and retention.


The Mission for this Position: As the VP of Marketing, you will drive SkyShare’s overall marketing direction, including brand development, demand generation, digital presence, communications, and customer engagement. You’ll manage a small team of professionals and lead the effort to leverage our industry-first innovations, such as SFX+ and PC-12-only programs. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will own the brand narrative and ensure all touchpoints reflect SkyShare’s values.

SkyShare operates a premium fleet ranging from Pilatus PC-12 turboprops to long-range Gulfstream G450 jets. Supported by 16 years of aviation expertise and 130+ passionate professionals, we fly more than 6,000 legs annually while delivering 5-star service and safety. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Sales (fractional, charter, brokerage, and aircraft management), Operations, Accounting, and HR to align marketing strategies with enterprise-wide goals and initiatives
  • Marketing Material Oversight: Oversee the development of marketing collateral (e.g., brochures, SFX+ pitch decks, client proposals) to highlight SkyShare’s luxury and cost-effective solutions while maintaining FAA Part 135 compliance
  • Promotions and Ad Spend: Manage promotional strategies and budgets, including social media campaigns, Google ads, email campaigns, event planning, and sponsorships while continuously analyzing performance metrics to optimize spend and maximize ROI
  • Brand Strategy: Develop and lead the comprehensive marketing and brand strategy that aligns with SkyShare’s mission, growth targets, and customer profile to strengthen SkyShare’s brand as a cost-effective alternative to national operators
  • Website and CRM Management: Oversee SkyShare’s website (skyshare.com) for content, UX, and SEO, and manage our CRM system (e.g., Jet Insight for client onboarding and trip sheets), optimizing lead generation and client retention
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership to a small team of professionals, guiding the creative output for our campaigns and materials
  • Partnership Development: Build relationships with FBOs (e.g., Ogden, Gnoss Field), maintenance providers, and luxury brands for co-marketing or sponsorships, leveraging our in-house maintenance and fuel savings
  • Customer Experience: Enhance client touchpoints to deliver SkyShare’s “Deliver the Wow” commitment
  • Market Research: Analyze private aviation trends to inform strategies and expand market share
  • Industry Compliance: Ensure marketing materials align with FAA regulations and promote SkyShare’s safety-first culture
  • Brand Communication: Oversee all external and internal communication efforts, including public relations, press releases, and corporate announcements, ensuring brand consistency in tone, visual identity, and storytelling across all channels

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field required; MBA or equivalent preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role, ideally in private aviation, luxury travel, or high-end services
  • Demonstrated success in developing brand strategy and leading large-scale marketing initiatives
  • Proven success managing multi-channel campaigns (social, Google, email, events) with measurable results
  • Experience with website management, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Jet Insight), and SEO/SEM
  • Strong understanding of luxury branding and customer experience
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations is a plus, given SkyShare’s focus on compliance
  • Excellent leadership skills to manage creative staff and collaborate with sales teams

Location:
