Job Description:
At TemperPack we develop custom shipping solutions using our high performance, recyclable packaging materials. Our Sample Technician will play a key role in our commercial operation.
The primary function of this role will be working closely with our sales teams to create high quality prototypes of TemperPack’s current and future products. Our Sales team uses those prototypes as a key tool in our sales process, and our Lab team uses them for thermal testing. In both instances, well-constructed and aesthetically pleasing prototypes are required daily to ensure TemperPack can sustain its unprecedented company growth. Â
This person will spend their days in our lab, measuring and constructing customized materials. The role requires attention to detail, enjoyment of process, and a high level of responsibility.

Essential Job Functions:
- Construct and ship product samples to prospective customers & for internal testing
- Maintain an orderly, well stocked inventory of raw materials to produce samples
- Manage inbound and outbound materials from UPS/FedEx,
- Handle intake of product samples carefully documenting with pictures and measurements.
- Gather materials from nearby production facility as needed
- Maintain and calibrate equipment on regular cadence
- Assist Thermal and Packaging Engineers in setting up and breaking down thermal tests.
- Assist teams across the organization with materials as needed.Â
