Description

As a Contact Center Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering Unexpectedly delightful experience to our Credit Union Members, ensuring their financial needs are met and enhancing their overall UNbanking experience.  This role will involve handling member inquiries, processing transactions, and promoting Community Choice’s products and services.   

 

What You’ll Do:

  • UNbanking Member Interaction – Engage with members across multiple channels including inbound calls, Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) sessions, secure messages on online banking platforms, and website contact leads. Facilitate various transactions such as check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and issuance of cashier’s checks.

 

  • Customer Service & Product Promotion - Provide personalized and delightful assistance to understand the financial needs of the member.   Actively refer members to the appropriate channel within the credit union to best serve the member’s experience. Educate members on the features and benefits of various banking products, such as loans, savings accounts, and certificates of deposit. 

 

  • Member Support– Update member information and ensure records are accurate and up to date.  Adhere to regulatory requirements and compliance standards in all interactions and transactions.  Utilize credit union software and technology to efficiently process transactions and access member information.  Assist members with digital banking tools and educate them on online services.

 

  • Account Maintenance - Execute account maintenance while maintaining strict adherence to Community Choice’s protocols. Prioritize accuracy in transaction handling and promptly address member inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of issues.  

 

This role will be held in Iowa for an organization that is Onsite Monday-Friday working until 6:00pm with a Saturday rotation, so relocation or local candidates will be welcomed. 

 

Qualifications

Who We’re Seeking:

  • Someone who is self-driven with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • 1-2 years of cash-handling and/or retail experience.
  • A high school education or GED.
