Qualifications & Competencies
- Education: High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field strongly preferred; or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: One year of experience in communications, marketing, or a creative field required. 3-5 years of experience preferred.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt tone and content for different audiences and platforms.
- Ability to plan, create, and execute large scale communications campaigns.
- Expertise with design and video tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).
- Familiarity with managing social media accounts, content calendars, and targeted digital ad campaigns.
- Strategic thinker who can connect daily creative work to organizational goals.
- Collaborative approach with strong interpersonal and project management skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning and continuous improvement.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s license within 30 days of full-time employment and be insurable under District standards.
The Schedule
This position is full-time, typically working Monday through Friday, with some flexibility for special events, photo/video shoots, or campaign launches. Hybrid work is available but must be able to work on site 2-3 days a week
Pay Range
The pay range for this role is $80,392.00 - $112,548.80. Hiring salary depends on qualifications but generally falls within the minimum and midpoint of the pay range.
