- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field – or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience leading and managing a cross-functional data engineering team, with an interest in mentoring analysts and data scientists.
- Hands-on experience with technologies such as Snowflake, dbt, and Terraform; familiarity with Power BI, OpenAI/GPT, and large language models is a plus.
- A track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within scope.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Skill in working with third-party data providers and acquisition processes.
- Proficiency in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of data engineering best practices and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Prior experience in a startup or fast-growth environment.
