Summary
The Golf Course Mechanic II performs maintenance and repair on John Deere and Toro equipment.  Provides miscellaneous mechanic works, including but not limited to grinding reels, diagnosing, disassembling, and assembling components and engines. Performs all duties according to safety procedures.

Essential Functions
• Performs maintenance of mowers
• Performs maintenance of small engines
• Provides miscellaneous mechanic works of disassembling and assembling components and engines;
• Assures that the workplace is maintained in a clean and safe environment;
• Maintains the cleanliness of all equipment;
• Assist with loading and unloading materials,
• Performs specialized tasks during adverse weather conditions and closures;
• Maintains a safe work environment and performs all duties in a safe manner. Observes and adheres to all safety rules. Reports all safety violations to management;
• Contributes to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds;
• Remains competent and current by reading professional journals and literature, developing professional contacts with colleagues, attending professional development courses, and attending training and/or courses as appropriate; and
• Reliable and consistent attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a golf maintenance environment. (2 years preferred)
• Physical, mental, and emotional stamina to work outdoors.
• Mechanical Certification is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
