Parts Manager - Peterbilt of Omaha
Brand-New Heavy-Duty Truck Dealership Opening in Early 2026
This position will train at our current MPG locations.

Founded in 1954, Sioux City Truck Sales, Inc. has grown from a small Diamond-T Truck dealership into the exclusive Midwest Peterbilt Group (MPG), a network of Peterbilt truck dealerships across Iowa and Nebraska. What You’ll Do

    • Inventory Management: Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, body shop, wholesale accounts and the do-it yourself public
    • Team Leadership: Hire, train, motivate, counsel and monitor the performance of all parts department staff
    • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that the same high-quality level of service provided to outside customers is also provided to internal dealership customers
    • Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive parts sales, including upselling, promotions, and customer outreach
    • Profitability Management: Analyze sales, expenses and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals
    • Systems and Reporting: Utilize dealership management systems to track inventory, sales, and customer orders as well as prepare regular reports using those systems
    • Collaboration: Work closely with other dealerships departments (service, body shop, warranty, and sales) to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer experience
    • Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety requirements, including but not limited to forklift training and operation, processing of SDS sheets on all products carried and OSHA Right-to-Know

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience: 5 years’ experience in heavy-duty truck parts preferred. Prior management experience preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Intermediate to advanced computer skills with fundamental computer operations, spreadsheets, database, and e-mail
    • Ability to solve practical problems
    • Ability to interpret instructions in a variety of ways
    • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking
