**Â SCHEDULE: The general schedule for this position is **Mon. - Thurs. 8PM to 6AM. **Note: This is schedule consists of 4 ten-hour shifts. The Thursday night shift ends at 6AM on Friday morning.** Employees must be available to work overtime if/when required. **
COMPENSATION: The base pay for this position is $17.50 per hour with an additional $1.50 per hour shift differential when working graveyard shift.
SUMMARY
The primary purpose of the Folder Gluer Feeder is being responsible for efficiently feeding materials into the folder gluer machine to support continuous production. The Folder Gluer Feeder is responsible for monitoring the flow of materials, troubleshooting minor machine issues, and coordinating with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime. This position reports to and performs work under the general direction of the Finishing Manager and may receive guidance or direction from Folder Gluer Operators or the Finishing Department Lead.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Load and stage carton blanks for production, using equipment like an air hammer when needed; verify all loads match job specs (item numbers, job numbers, specifications) and ensure no loads are missed.
- Inspect incoming loads from printing, cutting, or sheeting departments for defects, sort tags, or damage; confirm checklist accuracy before starting.
- Prepare loads ahead of machine setup by stripping down when needed and organizing materials to support a smooth transition and minimal downtime.
- Maintain continuous, accurate feeding of blanks into the folder gluer; adjust feed stack, guides, or die positions as needed for optimal performance.
- Stay present on the machine and assist the glue operator as directed, ensuring clear communication and understanding of run requirements.
- Monitor machine performance during operation, quickly addressing jams or feed issues and supporting basic maintenance under supervision.
- Coordinate with the crew on quality control tasks, such as identifying the sample area and checking for proper color match and board type changes.
- Clean the work area at the end of each job, including picking up scrap and changing out scrap carts.
- Follow all plant safety rules and wear required PPE; maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
- Support production goals by working efficiently, reducing waste, documenting activity as required, and communicating with team members and supervisors.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required between the assigned start time and end times of work; must be able to work overtime when required.
- Perform all work in accordance with company policies, procedures, practices, values, and standards of conduct.
