Job Description
All Saints’ Episcopal School is looking for energetic and motivated individuals to add to our coaching team. This fun part-time coach’s position must have a passion for working with children with the ultimate goal of making a positive impact on as many children as possible. The responsibility of a coach will be to develop, train, and educate students in their respective sports. As the Head Lacrosse Coach at All Saints' Episcopal School, you will provide leadership and guidance to the lacrosse program, overseeing the development of student-athletes and fostering a competitive and positive team environment. Your role is crucial in aligning the program with the school's mission and values.
Job Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Director of Athletics and Athletic leadership team.
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the lacrosse program.
- Develop a strong and competitive team that embodies sportsmanship and character.
- Plan and lead lacrosse practices and training sessions.
- Implement effective coaching strategies to enhance players' skills.
- Strategically plan for and coach lacrosse games.
- Analyze opponents and develop game plans for competitive play.
- Foster the development of players' skills, character, and leadership qualities.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to student-athletes.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of student-athletes during practices and games.
- Promote physical fitness and injury prevention.
- Oversee administrative tasks related to the lacrosse program, including scheduling, budgeting, and equipment management.
- Maintain open and effective communication with players, parents, and school staff.
- Provide regular updates on team activities and schedules.
- Role modeling good sportsmanship and maintaining appropriate conduct toward athletes, officials, and spectators.
- Working collegially with fellow coaches and Athletic Department staff.
- Responsible for the physical and spiritual well-being of the athletes during the sporting activity.
- Other duties as assigned are closely related to this position.
