Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required. MBA a plus.
- Ten (10) plus years of consumer product development, with sales and marketing background experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to author reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Excellent presentations skills. Ability to present to and persuade a wide range of audiences from Senior Management to members of the press to dealers (sell the viability of product programs). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Other Qualifications: Knowledge of quantitative & qualitative market research tools and techniques. Strong customer focus. Must be able to use products competently. Extensive knowledge of vehicles, boats, power sports and/or automotive products a plus. Team Player that is able to work well across and up and down the organization. Strong analytical skills.
