Description

Position Summary:   This position is responsible for a range of duties related to the daily deposit operations of the bank, including core system functions, information verification, and customer service.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Process Non-Post and EIM items daily
  • Lockbox payment processing
  • Balance teller cash daily
  • Review all new and closed deposit accounts
  • Verify customer and account information maintenance
  • Mange deposit scan folder (archive to Director)
  • Complete account maintenance (product changes, E-statements vs paper, rate changes)
  • Complete Customer maintenance (1099, verify address)
  • Provide support to Tellers and Customer Services Representatives at all Bank First locations
  • Be knowledgeable regarding end-of year tasks and forms; create corrected tax forms
  • Balance general ledger accounts to core system applications; research out of balance items
  • Manage Teslar exceptions new/approved/delete
  • Follow procedures and share knowledge with others
  • Look for efficiencies in all tasks completed
  • Accept and provide assistance for special projects as needed
  • Provide assistance to other Deposit Ops teams as needed

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Associates degree in business or accounting and banking experience preferred.
  • A thorough knowledge of bank products and services
  • Proficient use of computers, spreadsheets and various database systems.  Strong Word and Excel knowledge
  • Knowledge or ability to learn applicable banking and/or regulatory policies and procedures
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
