Job Description
A Cleaner is responsible for all aspects of apartment cleaning as units become vacant and maintaining and caring for the community buildings and exterior.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the cleaning of all fixtures, appliances, cabinets, windows, shelves, bathrooms, floors, tub, sinks, toilets, faucets, etc.
- Responsible for steam cleaning of carpets, wash/mop vinyl and tile floors
- Inform the maintenance supervisor of any mechanical issues discovered during the cleaning of an apartment home
- General maintenance duties as needed
- Grounds keeping and care for exterior of the buildings
- Snow removal as needed
- Preforms all other tasks assigned by the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor
Required Skills & Functions
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds and navigate stairs and ladders easily
- Demonstrate an ability to support and contribute to the community team
- Strong organization, written & verbal communication, and time-management abilities
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- 1+ year in a similar field preferred
- Have a positive attitude!
