Job Overview:

Acme Residential is searching for energetic, motivated, and proud individuals to support our communities! The Community Assistant will report to the Community Director. As a Community Assistant at our property, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our residents and fostering a vibrant and welcoming community atmosphere. You will assist the team in various administrative tasks, resident relations, and community events to ensure resident satisfaction and retention. This position requires strong organizational skills, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for creating thriving living environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Resident Relations:
    • Greet residents and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service at all times.
    • Address resident inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
    • Assist in resolving resident issues or conflicts in a diplomatic and timely manner.
    • Conduct regular follow-ups with residents to ensure their needs are met and concerns are addressed.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Assist in leasing activities, including processing rental applications, conducting property tours, and preparing lease documents.
    • Maintain accurate resident records, including lease agreements, move-in/move-out documentation, and rent payments.
    • Assist with scheduling appointments, answering phones, and responding to emails.
    • Assist in maintaining property appearance and cleanliness, including common areas and amenities.
  • Community Events and Activities:
    • Plan, organize, and execute community events and activities to foster a sense of belonging and engagement among residents.
    • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and partners for event logistics and services.
    • Promote community events through various channels, including flyers, social media, and newsletters.
    • Collect feedback from residents regarding community events and suggest improvements for future activities.
  • Marketing and Outreach:
    • Assist in marketing efforts to attract prospective residents, including social media management, online listings, and outreach campaigns.
    • Conduct market research and assist in competitive analysis to identify opportunities for property improvement.
    • Participate in outreach initiatives within the local community to promote the property and build relationships with potential residents.
  • Other Duties:
    • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Community Director.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property policies, procedures, and regulations.
    • Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues and supporting overall property goals.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a property management or hospitality environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Yardi) is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
