Position Title: Inventory Manager         Â
Reporting into Title: Director of Supply Chain
Position Purpose/Summary: The Inventory Control Manager manages all aspects of inventory control efforts and inventory personnel across the tVPC enterprise. This role leads and analyzes physical inventory, SLOB, MDOs, and monthly warehouse storage charges, establishes and maintains inventory discrepancy investigations, and generates appropriate internal and external reporting to maintain adequate inventory levels and appropriate control.

All duties as assigned and the following specific activities.
Â
- Establish optimal processes and procedures to best support and accurately record the Enterprise’s inventory activities.
- Maintain inventory balances between Navision and customer-specific databases (ex. SAP) to preserve inventory integrity.
- Manage, perform, and track all inventory variances in Navision and customer-specific databases.
- Investigate root causes of inventory variances and establish preventative actions.
- Plan and coordinate annual physical inventories, cycle count schedules, and reconciliations.
- Oversees audits including regulatory, customer, or internal requirements.
- Manages internal and external monthly customer inventory levels and SLOB reporting.
- Use critical thinking skills when resolving issues pertaining to excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
- Oversee inventory write-offs, disposal requests, and cost recovery.
- Collaborate with customers on inventory reduction strategies.
- Manage monthly customer warehouse storage reporting and charges.   Â
- Develop and report on metrics to drive continuous improvement of inventory controls through the development processes and cost reduction.
- Assess performance and implement improvements by creating, maintaining, and analyzing metric data.
- Develop and maintain business relationships with internal and external customers as they relate to inventory activities.
- Ensure established safety and inventory procedures are followed consistently.
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Provide leadership and supervision for directly assigned personnel.
- Maintain KPIs inclusive of inventory accuracy and trends.

- Improve and standardize inventory management to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory to meet enterprise SMART objectives.
- Optimize inventory turns and inventory reporting to meet enterprise SMART objectives.
