This role helps to improve customer experience by delivering world-class

service and products into their home. The receiving administrator supports

the company’s mission by ensuring that all furniture is received correctly in

the system which allows for a healthy inventory and increases the speed of

inventory turns.

Key Responsibilities: Follows the Value Chain Model by accurately receiving all inbound trailers and containers into the inventory system. In addition to ensuring that all items have been received into a rack location after the completion of each trailer. Communicates with Receiving Associates and Picker Operators to ensure that the unloading process for bays is completed in an efficient and timely manner.

• Label merchandise as required

• motivate Pickers and Receiving Associates through effective communication of the expectations and goals
• Research and find resolutions to inventory issues
• Filing data and reports accurately, timely, and encouraging team to following same protocols

• Required to work a schedule that may be changed/modified by management based on the needs of the business.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Strong computer skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision or with a team.
• Must be detail oriented and able to stay organize in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior work experience in a distribution center/warehouse with the physical and environmental aspects typically associated with such.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, reach at or above shoulder level, and walk frequently.
• Ability to communicate with customers and associates in a professional manner
• Approachable and professional demeanor
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills

Education Or Experience:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Previous warehouse/logistics/receiving experience
