HR Manager

SUMMARY:

CityDoc Urgent Care is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee key human resource functions across our clinics. This hands-on role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, payroll (via Paycom), employee relations, scheduling, compliance, and policy development. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and passionate about building strong workplace culture in a fast-paced clinical environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting: job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring

  • Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation, including paperwork and systems setup

  • Maintain accurate I-9 documentation and ensure compliance with E-Verify

 HR Policy & Compliance

  • Draft, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with employment law and organizational needs

  • Ensure employee handbook and internal policies remain current and accessible

  • Maintain all personnel records and files in compliance with legal and company requirements

Scheduling & Staffing Support

  • Oversee administrative scheduling for multiple clinic locations

  • Coordinate shift coverage, time-off requests, and call-outs to ensure operational continuity

 Payroll, Benefits, and Systems (Paycom)

  • Process biweekly payroll and ensure accuracy through Paycom

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee benefits, timekeeping, and PTO questions

  • Manage open enrollment, benefit changes, and HRIS updates

General HR Administration

  • Track and document performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and terminations

  • Respond to employment verifications and other personnel-related documentation requests

  • Ensure sensitive HR information is handled with strict confidentiality

  • Support administrative projects and assist leadership as needed


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • This position is on-site and may require travel between CityDoc clinic locations.

  • Must maintain the highest level of professionalism and discretion.

  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support clinic operations.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

  • 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a healthcare, urgent care, or multi-location setting

  • Familiarity with Paycom (or similar HRIS/payroll system) strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently
