JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales and Estimating team is accountable for building and maintaining business relationships with Developers and General Contractors in order to bid and sell projects. Sales and Estimating analyzes potential projects to determine material and cost requirements to ensure design and functionality integrity are maintained.

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Talk with General Contractors to develop new leads and relationships, discuss upcoming opportunities, and secure bid projects commitments, contracts and/or letter of intent.
- Review all relevant project documents, including architectural drawings, specifications, addenda, and correspondence from the Architect and General Contractor.
- Complete take-offs for each material category in order to determine types and quantities required.
- Recap materials into separate reports by material category and specific details to be sent to individual manufacturers’ representatives for project specific quotes and/or discount structures.
- Complete summary recaps to show overall cost for each material type, labor and any applicable taxes and contingency costs.
- Review and update all estimating files that are to be handed off to assigned Project Manager.
