JOB DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Delivery and Logistics:
- Assemble and load items for delivery and pick-up.
- Deliver and pick up blood products, samples, supplies, and equipment as directed.
- Ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
2. Vehicle Maintenance and Safety:
- Ensure that assigned delivery vehicles are in operational condition and report malfunctions to the department manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles.
3. Communication and Professionalism:
- Demonstrate courteous and professional behavior when interacting with donors, patients, employees, volunteers, and external contacts.
- Maintain confidentiality of donor, patient, employee, and organizational information.
- Relay job-related information promptly to relevant staff.
4. Organizational Mission and Compliance:
- Support and uphold the organization’s mission, goals, and programs.
- Adhere to cost-efficiency measures while performing job duties.
- Participate in safety meetings, training, and educational opportunities.
- Follow all SunCoast Blood Centers policies and procedures.
5. Other Duties:
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support SunCoast Blood Centers' mission and operational needs.
