SUMMARY
- Promote and maintain positive relations with all contacts, customers, and potential customers.

- Will be involved in ordering, receiving, verifying, and distributing cash.
- Operates a teller’s window to serve the bank’s customers by: Accepting retail and commercial deposits, verifying cash and endorsements and giving customers their receipts; Identifying customers and cashing checks and savings withdrawals; Accepting checking and savings deposits; Verifying customer signatures; Providing additional customer services including Cashier’s Checks, Money Orders, etc.; Balances cash drawer daily; Accepts payments for all loans; Accepts wire transfer information.
- May be responsible for bank opening/closing.
- Opens new accounts and admits customers to safe deposit boxes.
- Responsible for maintaining new account and BSA exceptions at the acceptable level approved by management.
- Open and Close Vault and night deposit.
- Promotes the bank’s products and services; consistently cross-sells bank products at every opportunity.
- Makes a concentrated effort to solve customer problems.
- Follows teller over/short policy.
- Assumes responsibilities of Branch Manager in his/her absence.
- All other duties as assigned.

- Performs the position safely, without endangering the health or safety to themselves or others and will be expected to report potentially unsafe conditions. The position of Assistant Branch Manager performs duties specific to the position and other functions as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
The position of Assistant Branch Manager assumes responsibility of Branch Manager in his/her absence.
ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
The employee is in a non-confined office-type setting in which he or she is free to move about at will. The position includes driving a Bank or personal owned vehicle approximately 5% of the time which includes exposure to the outside weather elements and moving mechanical parts. It may include some minor annoyances such as noise, odors, drafts, etc.
The employee in the course of performing this position spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 25 pounds), carrying, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling and reaching.
The employee for this position may operate any or all of the following: telephone, cellular telephone, beeper, copy and fax machines, adding machine (calculator), check protector, microfilm equipment, encoder, money counter, credit card terminal, typewriter, computer terminal, personal computer and related printers.
