Job Summary: We are seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our healthcare staffing agency in Kansas. This position offers the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings—including long-term care, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and assisted living facilities—based on client needs. As an agency RN, you will play a vital role in delivering quality nursing care while enjoying flexible scheduling and exposure to diverse healthcare environments. All responsibilities must be carried out in accordance with Kansas State Board of Nursing (KSBN) and Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to patients based on individual care plans
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as prescribed, and document accurately in medical records
• Assess, monitor, and document changes in patient condition, and report to providers or supervisors as necessary
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and revise care plans
• Provide supervision and clinical guidance to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Medication Aides (CMAs), and Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs)
• Maintain compliance with infection control standards, HIPAA, and state and federal regulations
• Complete documentation in electronic medical record systems per facility protocol • Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and facility staff
• Adapt quickly to different facility workflows, protocols, and patient populations
• Travel to multiple facilities within assigned geographic areas based on agency scheduling Qualifications:
• Current Kansas RN license in good standing • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred (LTC, acute care, or rehabilitation experience a plus)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred depending on facility, may require additional certification for acute specialty assignments)
• Excellent clinical judgment, organizational, and leadership skills
