Job Purpose:
- The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) at TRUECARE NURSING SERVICES LLC plays a crucial role in providing essential care and support to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. The CNA is responsible for assisting with daily living activities, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and promoting the overall health and dignity of patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Help patients with mobility and physical exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, enhancing their quality of life.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by ensuring patient rooms and common areas are tidy and sanitized.
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect patients and staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in patient care.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising nurse or healthcare team to support patient care and facility operations.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- CNA certificate

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nurse Aide in a healthcare setting.
- Experience in providing patient care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Familiarity with healthcare protocols and safety regulations.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, transferring, and positioning patients.
- Proficient in documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
