QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
An AA or BA degree in human services or a related field is preferred.
A Certified Addiction Technician (CAT) certification is required, or the candidate must be willing to obtain it within 18 months from the hire date.
Experience:
Prior experience with substance misuse, providing direct patient care, assessment, triage, crisis intervention, and group counseling.
Other:
Solid communication skills and basic computer skills are required.
CPR and First-Aid certification (the agency will cover the costs for initial training and renewals).
Must be able to take vital signs and recognize medical problems.
