Previous experience in Printed Circuit Board inspection and Wire Harness
Visual Inspection Skills under microscope or inspection tools to verify that a product is free of defects before installation in the next level of assembly or final distribution to the customer.
Hands-on experience with common inspection tools such as:
- Micrometers, calipers, Multimeter.
- Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications.
- Computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in use of and/or programming of automated inspection tools, such as vision inspection systems.
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment.
Education/ Training Required:Â
- High school diploma or equivalent (two years of college preferred)
- OR, 3 to 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment as a quality control inspector/technician.
- (Required) IPC Certified Quality Inspector.
Working Conditions & Safety Concerns:
Operates inspection/test equipment in a shop floor manufacturing environment. Â Works at a PC station as needed. Â Assists manufacturing personnel on the floor as needed. General safety practices followed, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel toe shoes as required.
