What You Will Do
- Infrastructure Management – Develop, maintain, and support IT infrastructure, hardware, and system software components for optimal performance and reliability.
- System Installation & Maintenance – Install, update, and manage software, hardware, and cloud-based systems, providing technical assistance as needed.
- Configuration & Troubleshooting – Configure, debug, and optimize infrastructure platforms to improve security and efficiency.
- Incident Response & Prevention – Analyze root causes of system interruptions and implement preventative measures to minimize downtime.
- System Monitoring & Performance Optimization – Proactively monitor IT systems, test applications, and identify potential performance bottlenecks.
- Security, Backup & Redundancy – Ensure IT security compliance, maintain backup processes, and implement redundancy strategies to protect critical systems.
- Automation & Scripting – Develop PowerShell or Python scripts to automate IT workflows and improve system efficiency.
- Infrastructure Design & Support – Assist in planning and deploying IT infrastructure solutions that align with business growth and technical needs.
- Compliance & Security – Ensure HIPAA, security best practices, and regulatory compliance across all IT systems.
- Help Desk Support – Provide second and third-level technical support to resolve escalated IT service desk issues.
- Perform Additional Duties – Support IT and business initiatives as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
- Cloud & System Expertise – Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, virtualization, and containerization technologies.
- Scripting & Automation Skills – Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or similar automation tools.
- Networking Knowledge – Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and security best practices.
- Problem-Solving & Technical Support – Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex IT infrastructure issues.
- Security & Compliance Awareness – Experience with HIPAA security regulations and IT security frameworks.
- Collaboration & Communication – Ability to work cross-functionally with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Commitment to Continuous Learning – Stay updated on emerging cloud, automation, and security technologies.
Required Education and Experience
- Education – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Experience – Minimum 3 – 5 years in systems engineering, infrastructure management, or IT administration.
- Certifications – Relevant industry certifications (Azure, Microsoft, or networking-related) are a plus.
- Industry Knowledge – Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and compliance frameworks is highly beneficial.
