IVX Health is seeking a Virtual Patient Coordinator to join our national team and help ensure our patients experience seamless, compassionate care—before they even walk through our doors. This fully remote role is perfect for a self-motivated, tech-savvy professional with real-world experience in healthcare scheduling and patient access.

We need someone who can be trusted to do the right thing—even when no one is watching. Someone who’s confident working independently, comfortable navigating EMRs, and capable of managing high-volume scheduling with accuracy and empathy. If you’ve thrived in a remote healthcare role before and understand what it means to be present, accountable, and proactive—we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments via phone, email, and text
  • Manage patient check-ins and appointment updates in the EMR
  • Review upcoming schedules to ensure patients are fully prepared for treatment
  • Communicate with internal departments to resolve any patient concerns prior to treatment
  • Verify insurance eligibility and troubleshoot issues as needed
  • Ensure accuracy of prior authorizations and update patient charts accordingly
  • Coordinate re-onboarding of patients returning to care
  • Collaborate with specialty pharmacies and manufacturers on medication-specific processes
  • Escalate treatment or scheduling issues to the appropriate clinical team

We're Looking for Someone Who Is:

  • Experienced in patient scheduling or access coordination in a healthcare setting
  • Technically confident—you can set up your own equipment and learn systems without hand-holding
  • A proven remote performer—you know how to manage your time and can be trusted to deliver
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple systems and communications at once
  • Calm, clear, and compassionate in patient communication
  • Solution-focused—you don’t just identify problems; you find a way through them

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred
  • 2–3 years of administrative or clerical experience in a healthcare setting
  • 1–2 years using EMRs and/or practice management systems
  • Strong familiarity with insurance portals and basic medical terminology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and EMR platforms
  • Prior experience working in a remote role is required
