Minimum Qualifications
- LMSW or Master’s Degree in Social Work with the expectation that LMSW is acquired within 6 months of hire, or a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling with License (LMHC) or NYS equivalent degree, with 3 years’ experience.
- Experience working with diverse client populations, including older adults and/or individuals living with behavioral health and mental health challenges.
- 2 years of supervisory experience. Residential setting experience preferred.
- 2+ years of related experience in the development and facilitation of substance use and harm reduction models, training, psychoeducation, and individual and group work.
- Understanding of the Housing First model and person-centered, trauma-informed, and solutions-focused methodology.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Office Software.
- Bilingual in Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
- Fluency in the English language is required.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct supervision of Case Management staff. Responsible for performance management, training, and onboarding.
Employment Status
Exempt, full-time. The days and hours of work are primarily Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travel may be expected. Occasional evening or weekend work and local travel may be required for events or funder meetings.
