Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead the Detox team at our Victor Street location. This pivotal role provides clinical and administrative oversight for Detox Recovery, supporting a committed 24x7 staff that includes Shift Coordinators, Addiction Technicians/Specialists, and Van Drivers. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, trauma-informed care expertise, and a passion for substance use treatment to help launch an innovative, evidence-based program. Candidates must hold a clinical license—LAC preferred, or LPC, LCSW, LMFT—and if not licensed as an LAC, must also hold a CAS or CAT. Responsibilities include onboarding and training new staff, coordinating skill development, and collaborating with Program Managers and Division Directors to ensure high-quality care and operational excellence. Schedule. This position is fully onsite and follows a 4x10-hour shift schedule, working Sunday through Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. One day per week, the Clinical Supervisor will adjust their schedule—either arriving early or staying late—to allow for overlap with the overnight shift and support continuity of care.
Salary for this role. Wage is based on years of licensure and company equity.
Licensed Therapist: $35.18 - $48.13 per hour.
Licensed Psychologist: $52.62 - $62.74 per hour.
Shift Differential Pay. The Day weekend shift differential is paid from 7 am to 3 pm on Saturdays and Sundays only; the Swing shift differential is paid from 3 pm to 11 pm; and the Overnight shift differential is paid from 11 pm - 7 am.
Day Weekend (Sat, Sun): $2.50/hour
Swing Weekday (Mon-Thurs): $2.75/hour
Swing Weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun): $3.25/hour
Overnight Weekday (Monday - Thursday): $4.00/hour
Overnight Weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday): $5.00/hour
Bilingual Language Differential Pay. *Rate depends on language requirements for the position and the candidate's fluency.
Employees will receive scheduled earnings bi-weekly, equivalent to 5% of their regular base rate (hourly or salaried), with a maximum amount of $3,000.00 per calendar year. The annual maximum amount will be prorated based on full-time equivalency (FTE).
Essential Functions:
Supervisor Accountabilities: Lead a work group and provide direction on a daily basis. Provide feedback to employees and may provide input into performance review. Monitor and guide performance indicators. Serve as the overnight supervisor and liaison between managers during daytime hours and overnight staff on three teams during overnight hours. Supervise components of clinical operations and assist with setting program policy and procedures for teams. Build and maintain cohesive, supportive, reflective, respectful relationships among staff. Step into all roles (except for the van driver) to support, move along, or supplement processes on all three detox and crisis teams. Work to support and receive guidance by crisis services manager 2/3 of time and detox services manager 1/3 of time. Review all process data with staff and discuss areas for improvement and respond to clinical areas of need with specific training for staff. Supervise entry of all data by overnight staff and ensure accuracy, and conduct chart reviews. Build relationships and work collaboratively with local non-profit agencies, public social services, and state policy makers to enhance their perception and utilization of services. Support the two Program Managers with tasks, as requested. Staff member will monitor and coordinate care for assigned clients in partnership with the other members of the clients’ care team. Attends supervision with manager of crisis twice monthly. Attends supervision with manager of detox one time monthly. Provide group supervision to overnight staff one hour, twice monthly: crisis therapists, shift coordinators. Provide individual supervision to crisis therapists one hour, twice monthly. Host a team meeting for crisis overnight staff two times per month. Host a team meeting for detox staff one time per month. Supervision and oversight of WIC, CSU, and Detox operations, including client care, staff work productivity, incoming referrals, and interactions with community partners during overnight hours. Work with medical staff on a nightly basis. Regularly meet with the manager of nursing for better coordination and perception of the medical clinical treatment of clients at the CSU. Assist with admissions and intake evaluations of WIC and detox clients during shift hours. Documentation for these clinical tasks is also expected to be completed within 24 hours of contact with a client.
