HIGHLIGHTS
As a Physician Scheduler, you will manage the implementation and administration of all scheduling rules and requirements to ensure proper staffing, including physician vacation time, incentivized shifts, and other schedule related items.

 

This position is full-time and in-Office during regular business hours.

 

THE ROLE

Job Functions

  • Administer and maintain scheduling software
  • Remain updated on scheduling software functions and changes
  • Coordinate all physician schedules, collaborating with Scheduling Supervisor
  • Work with the Physician Services department to maintain proper credentialing, licensing, and facility information necessary to schedule appropriate coverage
  • Communicate directly with physicians regarding their schedules
  • Manage the communication and confirmation of incentivized shifts to the accounting department
  • Coordinate and manage physician shift changes and vacation requests, communicating to impacted parties
  • Communicate scheduling to all stakeholders in the organization as necessary
  • Provide training and assistance to any peripheral users of the scheduling software
  • Generate and distribute reporting
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to incorporate and implement new or updated procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience in Physician Schedule management
  • 2+ years’ experience in scheduling roles
