PROCESS OPERATOR

NGC: Process Operator

The Process Operator is responsible for performing essential production tasks in the processing area to ensure the safe and efficient production of gelatin.

Some duties include but not limited to:

• Available to work 12-hour shifts, days, nights, and weekends on a rotating shift schedule. 

• Collect processing samples 

• Load/unload trucks and bins 

• Operate forklift (forks & clamps) throughout the facility 

• Identify, apply, store chemicals throughout the facility 

• Clean equipment and building 

• Add chemicals to tanks during CIP 

• Trash disposal 

• Operate pumps, valves, and pneumatic presses 

• Complete processing paperwork 

• Data entry in company database 

• Follow company policies 

• Must follow food safety regulations 

• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

• Familiarity in working with stainless steel process equipment 
• Experience working in a food, pharma or beverage industry is an asset 
• 1-year previous Sanitation experience is a plus (Using cleaning chemicals, pressure hoses, etc.)  
• High School Diploma, or equivalent schooling
• Good communication skills, able to communicate professionally, verbally and via e-mail with supervisors and other staff. 

This role is scheduled for the Night Shift, working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a rotating basis of 4 days on followed by 4 days off.

Starting Salary: 24.84/hourly
