While many roles offer on-site, hybrid, or remote flexibility depending on team needs, this position is hybrid and requires regular on-site presence at our Indianapolis office. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Solutions Marketing Manager partners with Walker’s Business Units (BUs) to develop and execute marketing plans that bring Walker’s brand and services to life. This role helps translate business goals into actionable marketing programs that communicate Walker’s value and align with our mission of helping organizations make change make sense.

Working closely with the VP of Marketing, Marketing + Brand Manager and Digital + Campaign Marketing Manager, this position balances strategic planning with creative execution to ensure Walker’s brand strategy and promise are consistently communicated across industries and markets.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Partner with each Business Unit to develop and calendar marketing plans aligned with growth priorities
•    Lead BU-specific programs across formats such as client success stories, case studies, presentations, email, paid digital, social and events
•    Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in design, message and tone across all channels
•    Develop and refine content for BU campaigns including client stories, case studies and supporting materials
•    Work with BUs and Sales Operations to package Walker’s offerings into market-ready solutions for campaigns and sales initiatives
•    Ensure all content reflects Walker’s brand strategy and reinforces our position as a leader in Experience Management consulting
•    Leverage ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot to streamline idea generation, writing and campaign planning
•    Collaborate with team members to evaluate campaign results and apply insights to future efforts
•    Guide channel strategy and motivate marketing teammates to produce impactful, on-brand work
•    Coordinate with cross-functional partners to gather input and keep marketing projects on schedule
•    Other duties as assigned

 

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field or relevant experience.
•    6+ years of experience in B2B or professional services marketing
•    Experience developing and executing integrated marketing plans
•    Familiar with partner or channel marketing models

 

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
•    Deep understanding of client and partner audiences, industry dynamics, and consumer motivations
•    Ability to translate complex professional services into clear, compelling, and engaging content
•    Exceptional storytelling, writing, and editing skills
•    Experience with marketing automation platforms, campaign workflows, and analytics tools
•    Proficiency with AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms to enhance ideation and efficiency
•    Strong collaboration and organizational skills, with the ability to influence and drive results without formal authority
•    Keen eye for high-quality design, writing, and content execution
•    Clear and confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
