RUN Studios is looking for a Motion Design Lead who thrives at the intersection of creativity and leadership. This role is perfect for someone who understands the full spectrum of graphical and animation workflows and knows how to guide both clients and creative teams with confidence and clarity. You’ll be the bridge between vision and execution—balancing client needs, team dynamics, and production timelines to consistently deliver high-impact visual content.
As a core member of our Production team, you’ll serve as the go-to for both clients and internal producers, ensuring every project meets strategic goals, stays on budget, and exceeds creative expectations. Strong communication, a proactive mindset, and hands-on experience with motion graphics and design are essential.

As a Motion Design Lead, You Will
- Understand and be fluent in our Client’s Brand guidelines, regarding but not limited to color, type, motion, and illustration
- Maintain a training and onboarding process for the Design team
- Manage and schedule design staff
- Provide feedback and quality checks as needed for projects to guarantee successful delivery execution
- Create, maintain and update all design, creative workflows, and documentation
- Cultivate a strong, well-rounded understanding of the client's brand and foster ongoing collaboration with the Brand team
- Triage new creative and graphical requests with potential clients and stakeholders
- Manage motion graphic projects from kick-off to final delivery, from smaller scope/budget deliverables to more comprehensive, cross-channel campaign content
- Responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of graphical production activities.
- Serve as the primary client and/or producer contact, providing expertise and guidance in pre-production, as well as managing expectations throughout production
- Track project progress and escalate concerns as needed
- Foster a team that is interested in and utilizes AI tools and technology in their daily workflows
- Create and track actuals of project budgets
- Organize project assets and data management
As an Applicant, You Bring
- 5+ years of strong leadership, management skills, and design experience
- BA/BS degree in a media art related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational skills and attention to detail
- A growth mindset

- Strong understanding of Adobe After Effects, C4D, Unreal Engine
- Strong ability to prioritize urgent tasks
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- High Level of customer service and timely response to requests
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knows how to develop and execute plans for taking a project through the graphical pipeline and communicate effectively throughout the process.
- Experience and confidence in budgeting, developing workback schedules, animation workflows and ability to foresee and mitigate issues in production is essential.

Compensation
Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000
The successful candidate’s starting pay within this range will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.
