POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Lead Fuel Technician will be responsible for and focused on the day-to-day aspect of fuel technology support operations. This position will report to the Director of Projects and Facilities and will guide a team of field / fuel technicians that are responsible for maintaining and managing all technology equipment associated with MM operations. This role will also work in tandem with IT team members to assist in the maintenance and consistency of current and future capabilities of Minuteman operations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

This list of essential job functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary. Depending upon individual assignment, the employee may perform all or a combination of several of the following duties:  

  • Leading a team of technicians that are responsible for troubleshooting and taking appropriate action to resolve issues pertaining to fuel and other onsite technology equipment.  

  • Provide planning and oversight for large scale tasks. Some examples include: POS upgrades / updates,  

  • New equipment rollouts,  

  • New locations / NTI rollouts  

  • Managing departmental inventory.  

  • Assist users through telephone, online, and/or onsite support.  

  • Maintain current knowledge of trends, developments, and products within the field of work.  

  • Participate in training sessions, meetings, teams, and a variety of activities as assigned for professional development and achievement.  

  • Professionally interact with all internal and external customers.  

  • Comply with all policies and procedures.  

  • Perform related duties as assigned.  

Qualifications

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS 

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma  

  • Preferred Certification(s): Wayne, Gilbarco  

  • Minimum 5 years of in field experience  

  • Ability to lift up to 125 pounds with assistance, stand for long periods of time and able to work in and out of different temperature ranges  

  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel)
