Minimum Position Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Digital Media, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- 2 years of professional experience in digital design.
- Proficient with Adobe programs including Premier Pro, Audition, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Captivate; proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint; must have ability to manage projects independently and as part of a team. Must have the ability to work through problems quickly and independently.
- Basic knowledge of video editing or motion graphics (for animated signage or marketing content).
- Ability to prep assets for web and print, understanding resolution, file formats, and accessibility.
- Have a Non-Disclosure Agreement in place with their company, and the company must provide a copy to the Program Manager of this task order. This is necessary to mitigate transfer of any confidential, proprietary and/or sensitive information while in this position.
HIGHLY DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with Department of Defense branding and communication policies (ex. Tongue and Quill).
- Experience working in the military setting, understanding of rank structure, policies, and procedures.
- Experience designing for digital signage (understanding screen ratios, motion graphics, and optimal content duration).
- Knowledge of layout principles, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- Familiarity with web-based design tools.
