Driver II

Job Function Statement (overall job purpose and benefit to the operation):

Position is responsible for providing support transportation services for center, or program related activities, and food service delivery for the Head Start Program.  Position provides supply deliveries to and from all centers in service area.  Position will act as a bus monitor when needed. Position will help ensure all fleet vehicles are clean and operational.  This position is responsible for ensuring program compliance with the Head Start Program Performance Standards regarding transportation services and with local, state and federal regulations.

1. Valid Kentucky driver's license.
2. Sex offender registry check.
3. Child abuse and neglect state registry check.
4. State criminal records check, including fingerprints.
5. Federal Bureau of lnvestigation criminal records check, including fingerprints.
6. Obtains First Aid/CPR/AED certifications.
7. Obtains Defensive Driver Training and other training required by funding source.
