POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for managing and administering human resource policies, procedures, and programs, paired with supporting portfolio leadership and employees for the assigned portfolio. The Human Resources Manager will provide subject matter expertise, partnership, and implementation support in areas of HR that include managing the following on a day-to-day basis: human resource administration, compliance, employment changes/onboarding/offboarding, performance management, compensation, benefits administration, LOAs, employee relations, payroll, and managing the HRIS system.  This position reports directly to the COO. The Human Resources Manager will be accountable for understanding the business model and strategic goals of the portfolio they support to align Human Resource programs. The Human Resources Manager will collaborate with adjacent Human Resource Managers within the organization to streamline global Human Resources operations, where possible. Depending on the growth of the portfolio, this position may have HR team management responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage key HR daily functions within the portfolio, including recruiting/onboarding/offboarding, employee/labor relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, performance management, training, payroll, employee records, and compliance.Â
- Analyze, develop, and implement Human Resources policies and procedures that support portfolio employee engagement, productivity, and company objectives.Â
- Develop and deliver internal staff communications.Â
- Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with portfolio vendors to provide supplemental HR processes and services.Â
- Manage the HR technology platforms and provide management reports to leadership teams, where appropriate.Â
- Create and lead Human Resources tactical portfolio solutions for day-to-day HR issues.Â
- Possess the ability to engage, inspire, and influence people at all levels of the organization.Â
- Partner with the leadership team to support performance management programs.  Â
- Possess a thorough understanding of human resources principles and practices, including federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.Â
- Manage the day-to-day programs that align with the metrics and drive results.Â
- Manage and instruct the HR team (if applicable) in the day-to-day performance of their roles and responsibilities.Â
- Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met.Â

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position will be in an office setting at a desk equipped with computer, monitors, phone, and other applicable resources/equipment. It will require the applicant to routinely sit, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend for up to 8 hours. Position requires the occasional lifting of objects up to 10 lbs.

WORKING HOURS
Standard hours Monday-Friday, eight hours per day. This position is hybrid, working both remotely and onsite.
COMPENSATION:
$105,000 - $150,000, depending on experience.Â
