The Corporate Director of Finance must have deep expertise in real estate finance and joint venture accounting, as they will lead all financial operations for the company’s real estate portfolio—including joint ventures, partnerships, and corporate entities—while also supporting Performance Hospitality’s three managed and four owned hotels; hotel experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all accounting functions are completed accurately and on time, maintaining compliance with financial policies and standards.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights that drive strategic initiatives and support business growth.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing forecasting to anticipate financial performance.
- Monitor budget adherence and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Identify, assess, and manage financial risks to safeguard the organization’s assets.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate financial risk.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Prepare for and coordinate audits, providing necessary documentation and responses to auditors.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure operational liquidity and financial stability.
- Develop strategies for optimizing working capital and managing receivables and payables.
- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the performance of hotels and partnerships, providing actionable insights.
- Present financial reports and key metrics to the board and stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for financial matters, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
