SUMMARY

Are you a content creator with a deep passion for skiing and snowboarding? Sierra-at-Tahoe is seeking an in-house Content Coordinator to create high-quality, high-impact video and photo assets for everything from fresh snowfall stoke and real-time resort updates to product promotions, events and brand activations.

Like the weather, no two days will be the same—one day you might be filming first tracks for an Instagram post, the next editing athlete GoPro footage or arriving in the early hours to capture morning operations. The role requires an advanced/expert-level skier or snowboarder who can film on snow and keep pace with our athlete team.

This position is ideal for a photographer/cinematographer looking to deepen their skills in action-oriented outdoor ski media and bring the Sierra brand to life!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, capture and edit high-quality and on-brand daily video and photo content, including powder edits, terrain park features, event recaps, promotional campaigns and social-first clips often with same-day turnaround

  • Film in dynamic mountain environments (powder, park, live events, fast action) using a range of equipment (Sony, Canon, GoPro, iPhone, drone, gimbals)

  • Execute end-to-end post-production work, from editing raw footage to adding titles, sound design and color grading; animation experience is a plus

  • Edit and package content for various digital channels and formats (Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, broll, web, email, etc.) with emphasis on short-form and social-first formats

  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects, etc.) and other video editing software (Instagram, Capcut, Canva)

  • Assist on photo shoots and video shoots including prep and day of logistics

  • Collaborate with athletes, marketing, and mountain operation teams to align on content needs and creative content

  • Guided by the Content Manager, participate in projects from concept to delivery—storyboarding, filming, editing, and final asset distribution under tight deadlines

  • Maintain an organized digital asset management system (DAM), ensuring photo and video libraries are accurately cataloged and distributed

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Confident shooting, editing, and publishing short-form video/photo content, including iPhone and in-house equipment

  • Expert skier or snowboarder with a passion for ski culture/content

  • Experience in camera operation, lighting and audio for dynamic outdoor environments

  • Strong attention to detail and integrity to get the little things right

  • Ability to shoot live events and interviews with microphones

  • Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and working in deep snow or stormy conditions

  • Ability to interact with team members and capture their best moments on camera

  • Must be local or planning to relocate to South Lake Tahoe, with reliable winter transportation

BONUS IF YOU…

  • Have graphic design experience and are comfortable in Adobe Illustrator and/or Figma

  • Are FAA drone-certified

  • Have 3–5 years of photography/videography experience, preferably in ski or outdoor-related industry

Please provide a portfolio or examples of work along with your resume.

Please note, in-house gear and equipment is provided.

Apply today to gain hands-on experience in professional video/content production, expand your creative portfolio, and be part of the Sierra-at-Tahoe team!
