SUMMARY
Sierra-at-Tahoe is looking for someone with experience in maintaining enterprise-grade web platforms via WordPress who has a passion for skiing and snowboarding. You’d be the gatekeeper to all things digital for Sierra-at-Tahoe’s marketing department, blending strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You’d collaborate cross-functionally to deliver timely, relevant content across email, app, web, SMS, digital advertising and chatbot channels—using guest insights and performance data to continuously improve the digital journey.

RESPONSIBILITIES – Other duties may be assigned
Website
· Manage development and maintenance of sierraattahoe.com via WordPress, including page design, writing copy and optimizing navigation, graphics and multimedia within the site
· Maintain content to ensure accuracy and consistency with the resort’s brand guide and strategic goals
· Responsible for ongoing site development, including implementation of new/updated functions and features
· Ensure website meets compliance standards: ADA, GDPR and California Laws
· Optimize the e-commerce site for an intuitive and user-friendly experience that yields measurable improvements in conversion and revenue
SEO/AIO
· Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy in collaboration with content, business unit, product and e-commerce teams in alignment with marketing and business goals
· Integrate AI-driven tools and methodologies into SEO workflows to enhance content creation, keyword research and performance analysis
· Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-potential, non-branded search terms relevant to our target audience and business objectives; analyze search volume, competition, and user intent to prioritize opportunities
Email Marketing & CRM
· Lead Sierra’s email marketing, including strategy, content planning, calendar, design, segmentation and list management, deployment and scheduling, tracking, testing and reporting
· Build new multi-platform journeys (email, SMS, push notifications) aligned with retention and product, managing strategy, planning, segmentation, triggers, dynamic content, deployment, tracking, testing and reporting
· Develop and implement A/B testing strategies to optimize campaign performance
· Analyze guest behavior, demographics and product usage to extract insights and refine communications
· Optimize lifecycle marketing, renewal, and retention efforts for lapsed guest journeys
Online Advertising
· Work with the Director of Sales and Marketing, as well as Sierra’s media agency, to develop and execute the resort’s digital advertising campaigns across display networks and search engines
Analytics
· Report on and analyze web analytics to gain actionable, real-time data and insights across multiple channels and devices that will help improve the effectiveness of online marketing campaigns and maximize ROI
· Track, analyze and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush and AI analytics platforms
· Analyze and report on CRM performance via Inntopia and Acoustic
Other Duties
· Project management via Wrike
· Assist with other marketing activities, promotions, and sales efforts as needed
· Project manage other collateral/signage needs as necessary
· May job-share in other areas or the Resort based on variable business operating schedules to support the efficient and effective flow and continuity necessary to support guest service distributed
IDEAL CANDIDATE
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Ability to provide clear and actionable SEO guidance to the communications team
· Analytical mindset with experience in data visualization and reporting
· Excellent communication and project management skills
· Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
· Working knowledge of basic HTML and CSS
· Email platform and lifecycle marketing experience, ideally with Acoustic and Inntopia
· Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to think conceptually, strategically and creatively
· Self-directed. Able to create plans, execute and achieve results with little specific direction
· Familiarity with web analytics systems and Google Tag Manager
· Ability to use Google Data Studio, SQL and Excel to create pivot tables, graphs, and charts
· Familiarity with online media, search and e-commerce platforms
· Experience with Content Management Systems
· Experience managing a budget

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE -
· Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university; and two-four years of interactive marketing experience.
