CollegeSpring is the only national nonprofit providing teacher-led test prep during the school day, helping students impacted by poverty unlock greater options after high school. For 16 years, we’ve partnered with school districts and organizations across the country to help more than 50,000 primarily first generation, economically disadvantaged, BIPOC students unlock opportunity through increased scores on gateway tests like the SAT, ACT, and TSIA2 (Texas Success Initiative Assessment). Today, we continue to expand by maximizing impact through larger district and nonprofit partnerships and harnessing the power of technology to better serve teachers and students.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Program Experience Partner supports a portfolio of districts and partner schools by serving as a consultant who is expert in the implementation of CollegeSpring’s approach. They will guide district staff on program design and delivery, train district and school staff, coach teachers to differentiate instruction using our platform, and manage partner relationships to deliver a high-quality CollegeSpring program. The Program Experience Partner believes that impact on students is possible through guiding change management for district and school staff, allowing them to support committed and capable teachers. This position reports to the Head of Partner Success and works collaboratively with members of the Partner Success Team and cross-functionally with the Product, Operations, and Development Teams as the liaison and voice of teachers and students internally. In this role, while not directly supervising employees, strong supervisory skills and acumen are essential for effectively leading and guiding our partner schools and teachers to successfully implement our program and achieve student outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Partnership Support and Influence
- Initiate, foster, and maintain strong district and site relationships across a portfolio of partner sites that lead to strong program quality, student outcomes, and partner satisfaction.
- Create an implementation plan for each program, including change management activities for teachers, and calendar and lead conversations with each partner to map out programming and support to facilitate high quality programming, collaborating with the Partner Success Manager on rostering, testing, and other operational support.
- Serve as the main point of contact for each partner (based on an assigned portfolio), specifically consulting and delivering training, coaching, and curriculum implementation, leveraging internal support for operational execution.
- Communicate regularly with district and school partners to share score reports, progress updates, share challenges and opportunities with recommended shifts in program implementation.
- Devise and drive comprehensive strategies tailored to each partner site to achieve measurable student impact, aligning program objectives with student outcome goals and leveraging insights from data analysis and partner feedback to inform strategy refinement and continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with the Partner Success Manager to support mid-year and end of year meetings to review data and discuss successes, challenges, and future planning for the partnership.
- Assist other CollegeSpring teams with data collection and communications as the primary liaison to district and school staff.
- Drive program goals and metrics such as, but not limited to, the following:
- 85% Partner Retention year-over-year
- 90% of students increase Test Confidence (motivation and preparedness)
- 90% of teachers increase effective program delivery
- 10% growth in student achievement annually
- Document, track, and monitor communications, program activities, milestones, including anecdotal stories, photos, and videos of teacher and student success using Saleforce.com, team standard operating procedures, and district media consent guidelines.
- Outline and track partner touch points and internal tasks required in the team Priority Work Plan, ensuring alignment across all members of the Partner Success Team.
- Understand the local educational ecosystem to identify potential new partners and opportunities to expand student impact.
Instructional Support
- Build strong relationships with each partner teacher through consultative strategies such as program partnership, coaching, and support, ensuring teachers are equipped to use CollegeSpring’s platform and curriculum to best support student achievement on test standards and growth in Test Confidence.
- Collaborate with district leaders and teachers to adjust the pacing of lessons to meet local needs and requirements guided by program standards.
- Engage teachers regularly through virtual and in-person meetings to to understand successes and challenges of CollegeSpring program and to make mid-program adjustments to better support student achievement.
- Design resources, materials, tools (e.g., user guides), and information to strengthen CollegeSpring instruction and planning, collaborating internally to ensure visual identity and branding are in compliance with CollegeSpring guidelines.
- Complete non-evaluative teacher observations and provide feedback using current industry standards for instructional coaching to ensure high-quality program delivery.
- Monitor, analyze, and interpret student, teacher, school, and district level data, as available, to look for trends and to create action plans to ensure that teachers use data to drive instruction.
Training and Ongoing Development
- Serve as expert in CollegeSpring systems (e.g., learning management systems) and products to support teacher implementation at partner sites by creating readiness materials, fielding questions, exploring options, and recommending ideas for success.
- Create and deliver high-quality training and professional development materials for CollegeSpring teachers, including both virtual and in-person delivery.
- Coach teachers across your portfolio, specifically focusing on needs across your portfolio of sites to increase student LMS engagement and teacher satisfaction with the program.
- Attend and present at conferences and trade shows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Contribute to the annual organizational goals through partner retention and recommending additional products and services when appropriate.
- Support program evaluation and on-going data monitoring and reviews to strengthen the CollegeSpring program.
- In collaboration with Partnerships, lead product demonstrations for prospective partners, including successful practices and recommendations from other partner sites..
- Share data trends, anecdotal evidence, and learnings with the Product team to inform future product development and enhancement activities to ensure continuous program improvement.
- Leverage other members of the Partner Success Team to ensure CollegeSpring delivers the highest-quality program possible so that partners and organizations meet their goals.
