POSITION TITLE: Faculty - Psychology

POSITION CLASSIFICATIONS: Faculty (Tenure Track)

Role: Faculty for Psychology department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field

Experience: Must have recent teaching experience preferably in a community college setting dealing with diverse student populations.

Skills/Abilities:

1. Ability to teach a full-range of psychology related subjects and develop curriculum and programs related to the field.

2. Ability to use appropriate instructional technology.

3. Ability to develop and use innovative instructional approaches.

4. Ability and willingness to work well with administrators, staff, faculty, college and community organizations and committees.

5. Ability to actively participate in academic advisement and departmental, campus and college committees/meetings.

6. Performs other duties as assigned in support of students.
