Regional Field Service Technician

Westfalia Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Regional Field Service Technician to join our growing team! The Regional Field Service Technician is responsible for performing field service and installation work on all equipment built or supplied by Westfalia Technologies, Inc.

Job Functions:

• Support part and service sales for S/RMs, conveyors, palletizers, and robots. 
• Accept, process, and follow up to parts orders for S/RMs, conveyors, palletizers, and robots.
• Provide service and support to customers regarding preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on-site.  
• Provide world-class customer service to all customers. 
• Interface with customer daily, providing daily reports and owning follow up actions.
• Coordinate business information between customer and working supervisor.
• Submit all paperwork in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintaining a close professional relationship with all internal/external customers.
• Participate in developing and maintaining a sense of teamwork within the Service Department.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Fit for air travel and legal eligibility to rent and operate a rental vehicle.
• Capability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or comparable business software/applications.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.
• Competence in resolving customer complaints and issues while maintaining professionalism and composure.
• Strong team collaboration skills.
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel 50-80% of the time as required.
• Ability to respond to service requests on short notice.
• Must be able to ascend and descend a fixed vertical ladder, up to 135’ high, 10% of the time

Education/Experience:

• Experience with electro/mechanical repair and troubleshooting
• Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment
