System Training Coordinator

The System Training Coordinator is responsible for the training of an individual or team in Westfalia Systems operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. They will be responsible for both client and internal training as assigned by the manager. When not actively working on a training assignment the coordinator will develop, or facilitate development, of training materials including syllabus, media, and other supporting training aids and documentation.

Job Functions:

• Train clients in Westfalia Systems operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Train System Support Technicians, Engineers, and other Westfalia team members.
• Work with Support team members to resolve client issues as needed.
• Develop, or facilitate development, of training materials.
• Other Duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience in or ability to develop understanding/proficiency in operations and support of Westfalia automated systems and processes
• Willingness to travel to client sites for development and delivery of training. Estimated travel 30%.
• Willingness to travel to corporate for development and delivery of training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Excellent critical thinking skills
• Ability to multitask and adjust priorities when needed
• Safety oriented approach and results
• Experience in or ability to develop team structures and workflows

Education/Experience:

•  Education and/or experience in a technically related field.
• Minimum of 1-4 years relevant experience in development, operation, and support of industrial automated storage equipment and solutions.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

• Able to position oneself through standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching.
• Able to climb ladders, use stairways and otherwise access industrial facility operational areas.
• The person in this position frequently will require clear, concise, and active communication with others during manual operation of the machines.
• Work environment temperatures range from -40F to 110F.
• Must be fit for air travel and legally able to rent and drive a rental vehicle (21+).

Travel Requirements:

• This position requires travel to client sites up to 30% of the time.

Must live in one of the following states to be considered: AR, CA, CO, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, MS, NC, NE, NH, NJ, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, UT, VA, VT, WI.
