Position Summary
The Junior Director of Hospital Engagement supports the expansion and retention of USA Managed Care Organizations national Medigap facility network by assisting with research outreach contract negotiations and relationship management. Operating under the guidance of the Senior Vice President of Hospital Engagement this developing leader role blends sales acumen with detailed project coordination to drive timely accurate and compliant contracting activities.

Essential Functions

  1. Market Research and Prospecting

  • Analyze assigned territories to identify prospective hospital and health system partners

  • Compile engagement gather facility data and prepare qualification summaries

  1. Partner Outreach and Scheduling

  • Draft introductory emails coordinate discovery calls and maintain a consistent cadence of follow ups

  • Prepare meeting briefs and participate in introductory discussions alongside the Senior Director

  1. Contract Support and Negotiation Prep

  • Draft and track non binding term sheets redlines and early contract versions

  • Log negotiation status in CRM flagging issues for leadership review

  1. Relationship Management

  • Serve as day to day point of contact for assigned facilities ensuring prompt resolution of questions

  • Coordinate on site or virtual presentations and product education sessions

  1. CRM and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate opportunity records generate weekly pipeline and activity reports

  • Monitor KPI progress such as lead to proposal cycle time and data integrity scores

  1. Event Representation

  • Attend local and regional industry events 25 to 35 percent travel to represent USA MCO professionally

  • Capture competitive insights and share with cross functional teams

  1. Internal Collaboration

  • Liaise with legal finance operations and compliance to obtain supporting documentation and align on contract terms

  • Assist in creating slide decks and summaries for executive review

  1. Compliance and Security

  • Adhere to HiTrust HIPAA and USA MCO Information Security policies in all partner interactions

  • Handle confidential data in accordance with corporate guidelines

  1. Other Duties as Assigned

  • Perform tasks management deem necessary to achieve departmental objectives

Qualifications

Education
Bachelors degree preferred

Experience
Minimum 2 years in healthcare sales provider relations network development or related field exposure to hospital contracting strongly preferred
